Dr. Sahara Omar specializes in trauma and PTSD recovery, and she also assists clients with various other concerns such as anxiety, depression, conflict management, commitment issues, sex therapy, communication problems, divorce, and more. She provides psychoeducation on relevant topics and uses active listening to become each client's cheerleader. Her primary therapeutic modalities include CBT, DBT, Narrative, Gottman, and solution-focused approaches. Dr. Omar's therapy style is semi-direct and aimed at achieving productive outcomes.

Dr. Sahara Omar holds a Doctorate and a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. She speaks four languages: English, Somali, Arabic, and French, and leverages her own experiences to help clients overcome their struggles.
